Lošinj Airport (IATA: LSZ, ICAO: LDLO) is an airport 3.2 nautical miles (5.9 km) from Mali Lošinj on the island of Lošinj, Croatia. It is registered for domestic and international traffic. Its runway is 900m long and 30m wide, and is equipped with 1C signalization according to the ICAO. The current primary priority is to lengthen the runway to 1260m, and the necessary project documentation has already been created and acquired.

After fifty-three years, our town, our island of Lošinj and our sea have recieved a prestigious award of organizing the 27th World Underwater Fishing Championship, 14-19 September 2010. This clearly did not occur by incident – this is a result of a longstanding underwater fishing tradition in our region. A mere thought of underwater fishing makes you think of our town that made a huge contribution as it managed to organize something unachievable to others in certain times of recession.
